Our Goal: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day,” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Mixed Seniors Study and Fellowship

The Seniors’ mixed Bible study meets up in the youth area on Thursdays each week, at 9:30am. After a time of fellowship we have a DVD session, which is followed by breakout discussion groups. Most studies come with a workbook at a cost of $10-$15.

To Live Is Christ To Die Is Gain by Matt Chandler

Our next study To Live is Christ To Die Is Gain by Matt Chandler will begin September 26, 2019. The story begins in Philippi, where Paul introduces three individuals that were all enslaved by the kind of things we often choose over the Gospel.

  • Lydia, the Business Executive
  • The Little Slave Girl
  • The Hard-Working Jailer

Their lives portray dysfunction and emptiness but are totally transformed by the Gospel. True joy and Christ's love begin to live within them, giving them a life of purpose.
We invite you to join us as Matt Chandler, walks us through Philippians! In this, one of the most intimate of Paul's letters, he paints a beautiful picture of what it is to be a mature Christian.

Other Ways to Get Connected

Golf and Fellowship
A men’s golf program takes place on Wednesday mornings at Pineland Golf Club in Flamborough, with a start time of 7:30 AM. Weather permitting, the golf runs from April to October. “Fore!!”

Creative Hands
Fridays at 9:15AM the Creative Hands ladies meet for a time of fellowship, the Word, and knitting. They meet all year, from September to June. If you knit, you fit!

Seniors Fitness
There is a fitness “boot camp” for Seniors on Fridays at 10AM. It is a low-impact but effective workout led by a qualified fitness instructor to help keep ourselves in good physical shape. There is a small fee of $5 per session. You do not need to register – just show up!
