Serving Opportunities with Helping Hands

Hope Oakville has the privilege of partnering with Helping Hands Street Mission on Barton Street in Hamilton. This organization works to address the needs of the homeless, working poor, and spiritually poor of Hamilton by reaching out with love and respect—doing things like providing free meals, haircuts, and offering free clothing. At the heart of this ministry is the desire to listen to people and pour back into them with God’s love.

We join Helping Hands Street Mission in the downtown core of Hamilton on the second Saturday of every month. You can find out more about the ministry here.

If you wish to serve in this ministry you can sign up through their website, or to join our Saturday program check the serving page for up-to-date needs. Please note, to serve you must be 18 years or older and have completed Party with the Pastors.
