English as a Second Language

Just like our neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces, Hope Oakville reflects a rich tapestry of languages and culture. Motivated by our love for Jesus Christ we are seeking people who would benefit from Conversational English class on a wide variety of topics relevant, not only to newcomers to Canada but also to those wanting to practice English language skills. Our classes will include a biblical perspective on each topic.

Fall Conversations classes are online beginning the week of September 27 and are offered at three ability levers: Beginners; Intermediate; Advanced.

Registration is open and ongoing and students must complete the form provided. An ESL leader will contact you via email to arrange an online interview in order to determine your best class placement. Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-2:30 pm via the Zoom video conferencing app.

For further information or ministry updates email us at esl@hopeoakville.ca

“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7:9-10
