There is HOPE for you, His name is JESUS

Sunday Services at 8:30AM, 10:30AM & 12:30PM
New to Hope?

You won't feel new for long!

At Hope Bible Church, we are dedicated to glorifying God through the fulfilment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). This means we strive to make disciples of Jesus Christ, and walk with them as they become more like Him. What does that actually look like? What can you expect on Sunday? We’d love to share more about our church with you.

Practical Theology 1

Practical Theology 1

Monday, March 9, 7PM - 9PM
Practical Theology 1, an eight-week class, will run from January 19 to , March 23 2026.  The Practical Theology classes are based on a curriculum prayerfully and collaboratively developed in-house by our Hope Soul Care team over the past several years. In this class you will experience live teaching and participate in breakout groups, that will help us explore how God's word can be powerfully applied in our daily experience of suffering, in our daily battle against sin, and in our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 1 focuses specifically on suffering, sin and repentance and our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 2 builds on the foundation laid in Practical Theology 1 and looks at what it looks like to walk in the Lord in faith as we pursue humility, contentment, peace, love, joy, gratitude and hope. The required prerequisites for Practical Theology 1 include Following Jesus, Heart Resurgence, or other Hope classes / ministry involvement  (i.e. Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Hope Institute classes). Please email [email protected] for more information or if you are unclear about prerequisites. The printed curriculum is $50. You will receive the material on the first night of class. This book contains the content for both Practical Theology 1 and Practical Theology 2, so no additional purchases are required after this initial payment. (*Please note that Practical Theology 2, also an eight-week class, will be offered in the Spring of 2026).

Secret Church

Secret Church

April 17, 6:30PM - April 18, 2AM
About “Secret Church?” Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered to believers in underground house churches in Asia—brothers and sisters who gathered in secret, fully aware that discovery could cost them their freedom, their families, or their lives. Their faith was not shaped by comfort or convenience, but by a deep devotion to God and His Word. Secret Church was born from these encounters. Each spring, believers around the world set aside one evening to open the Scriptures, pray for the persecuted church, and give sacrificially, longing to see Jesus made known in the places where is he is least known. EVENT COST: $25 includes the simulcast and light snacks throughout the evening. What to Expect Secret Church is back with a dramatic and immersive dive into the life of Elijah—the prophet who stood alone before kings, called down fire from heaven, battled despair in silence, and was taken up in chariots of flame. Told in four cinematic chapters, this narrative-driven teaching will carry viewers through the highs and lows of Elijah’s life, calling today’s church to courageous, resilient faith in hard places. As with past Secret Church events, this experience is not just about studying Scripture—it’s about equipping and mobilizing the global church to live boldly for Christ in the hardest-to-reach places. This year, the story of Elijah will be woven together with real stories of gospel advance in Nepal, bringing ancient Scripture and modern mission into powerful alignment.
