Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. With topics including debt, generosity, work, saving, investing, and even eternity, this six-week course teaches individuals God’s perspective of managing money and possessions. It will provide the practical applications of handling finances, getting to the heart of the matter. If you are a young adult starting off, someone who finds yourself in a financial difficulty, or just a person learning to grow in wisdom with finances, this class is perfect for you. The focus of this group is to allow the Gospel of Jesus Christ to speak to emotional suffering, and to find our identity not in an issue but rather in the person of Christ. This two-day seminar is designed to equip disciple-makers to lead merciful and just lives as they reach the poor and vulnerable around them. You may know that Hope has partnered with Samaritan’s Purse for Operation Christmas Child for over a decade. In previous years, Hope has donated over 1,000 boxes to children worldwide. We know we can do that again! But not without YOUR involvement. But what is Operation Christmas Child, and what can you do? Samaritan’s Purse facilitates the sending of shoeboxes to children at Christmas. These boxes are a chance to show the love of Christ. You can pick up your shoebox in the Vestibule on your way out of church on OCTOBER 27 (next weekend!). Make sure you drop it off no later than NOVEMBER 24. This is the latest we can accept boxes! Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together. Help us support our ministry neighbour, Philpott Church, this winter as they provide care through their urban outreach. We will be holding a winter clothing drive on Sunday, November 10th. There will be a truck located in our parking lot. Please drop off new or gently used items on your way in to a service. The need for warm, comfortable winter clothing is always on-going, so this would be a huge help as we get closer to cold weather. Men and women's clothing only -no children's clothes please! This one-session class is for those that are Thinking About Marriage. Topics include (but are not limited to) the definition of marriage, God's design for marriage, sex within marriage, what does marriage illustrate, and why premarital counselling is essential. Discussions will centre around teaching the Biblical view of Marriage. *This is a prerequisite for any Member participating in our Premarital Ministry.

Hey Hope Families, we are excited to offer a new initiative we are calling - Hope Kids Family Nights!  Family Nights is designed for parents and their children in grades SK to 5.   Our aim is to come alongside families, equipping them to train up their child in the way they should go so that they will not depart from the Christian faith (Proverbs 22:6).  Our hope is to bring families together by exploring fundamental Gospel truths through the use of a catechism to encourage open discussion surrounding God, rooting His truths in our hearts, and growing a deeper relationship with Jesus.  Psalm 78:7 - setting hope in God; know and obey His commands. Both parents and their child are required to register to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Registered women gather weekly in facilitated small groups, focused on the study of God's Word and care for one another through prayer, service and fellowship. Tuesday Evenings: 7:00-9:00 pm (no childcare option).

As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Psalm 116 says, "I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live." Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together. Just like our neighbourhoods, schools, and workplaces, Hope Oakville reflects a rich tapestry of languages and culture. Motivated by our love for Jesus Christ, we are seeking people who would benefit from a Conversational English class that focuses on a wide variety of topics relevant to newcomers to Canada and also to those wanting to practice English language skills. Our classes will include a biblical perspective on each topic.

Hope Twenties is a Group Life opportunity for anyone aged 18-25. Twenties meets twice a month on Thursdays at 7 PM at Hope Bible Church for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Twenties that desire to join a small group also meet twice per month at the church and in home in the Halton area.

With topics including debt, generosity, work, saving, investing, and even eternity, this six-week course teaches individuals God’s perspective of managing money and possessions. It will provide the practical applications of handling finances, getting to the heart of the matter. If you are a young adult starting off, someone who finds yourself in a financial difficulty, or just a person learning to grow in wisdom with finances, this class is perfect for you. If you, or someone you love struggles with anxiety consider joining this 9-week care and support group. The focus of this group is to allow the Gospel of Jesus Christ to speak to emotional suffering, and to find our identity not in an issue but rather in the person of Christ. Both men and women are invited to this group which will be facilitated by Soul Care team members. There will be video based teaching each week along with time for smaller group discussion and prayer. As this is an in-person class, space is limited.

At Hope, we take prayer seriously. We know that a church that doesn’t pray together doesn’t stand a chance. That is why we want YOU at our church-wide monthly prayer meeting! These are opportunities to live out what we say we believe about the power of prayer and the importance of fellowship. Let’s call upon the Lord together this Wednesday! Doors will open at 6PM.
