5 Things to Pray for During the Week of Prayer
1) SALVATION and GOSPEL BOLDNESS
For many to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. And for boldness among friends and families this Easter to invite people to church and share the gospel.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. Romans 1:16
1 Timothy 2:1,3-4
2 Timothy 1:8-9
2) LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS
Pray the light of life into our church this week and throughout Easter weekend. Our world is so dark, pray to destroy darkness and deliver us from evil.
To open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me. Acts 26:18
2 Corinthians 4:6
For protection over our church family—that our first response in all situation is to go to the Lord. Pray people will clearly see their need for the Lord.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2
For revival in our churches and in our families. For the burden to pray for the lost loved ones in our families, that the love of Jesus will revive their spirits.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6–7
5) UNSPEAKABLE JOY
That celebrations of Jesus’ resurrection would result in amazing, unspeakable joy for those that love Him—and that this love would flow over into our families and communities, that thousands would come to see the unbelievable love of Christ.
Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory. 1 Peter 1:8
