Our guiding Scripture in men's ministry is found in 2 Timothy 2:1-2, "You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." The goal is that we, as individual men, will be strengthened by God's grace as we grow in our relationship with Him. As we do, we will desire to pass along what we learn about that grace to other men. Both our large group meetings and small group settings are where that can take place as we study God's Word, pray and encourage one another.

What is Family Night? Hey Hope Families, we are excited to offer a new initiative we are calling - Hope Kids Family Nights!  Family Nights is designed for parents and their children in grades SK to 5.   Our aim is to come alongside families, equipping them to train up their child in the way they should go so that they will not depart from the Christian faith (Proverbs 22:6).  Our hope is to bring families together by exploring fundamental Gospel truths through the use of a catechism to encourage open discussion surrounding God, rooting His truths in our hearts, and growing a deeper relationship with Jesus.  Psalm 78:7 - setting hope in God; know and obey His commands. Both parents and their child are required to register to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

It will provide the practical applications of handling finances, getting to the heart of the matter. If you are a young adult starting off, someone who finds yourself in a financial difficulty, or just a person learning to grow in wisdom with finances, this class is perfect for you. Both men and women are invited to this group which will be facilitated by Soul Care team members. There will be video based teaching each week along with time for smaller group discussion and prayer. As this is an in-person class, space is limited.

Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together. Hope Youth Senior High students are invited to our upcoming Senior High Fall retreat. This retreat is for Grades 9-12 students attending Hope Youth. We look forward to a time filled with worship, time in God's Word, and time with leaders and friends. No transportation will be provided for this retreat. Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their student(s). *PLEASE NOTE* Retreats are an intentional time of worship, teaching, and community for our small groups. We ask that students be committed to the entire weekend and that you make sure they do not request to come late or leave early. This is a distraction for everyone. In Luke 10:36-37, the Parable of the Good Samaritan ends with this exchange: Jesus said, "Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbour to the man who fell among the robbers?” The lawyer said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.” In this text, we get a stunning picture of what love of a neighbour really looks like: Real, sacrificial love for those in need that cross our paths. But what does that look like when it seems like the needs of the poor are all around us? And how does God's word motivate us as we reach the poor and vulnerable? Is it through mere guilt and obligation or is there more? "Love Your Neighbour as Yourself: Showing Mercy to Those in Need" training seeks to answer these questions. This two-day seminar is designed to equip disciple-makers to lead merciful and just lives as they reach the poor and vulnerable around them. Our guiding Scripture in men's ministry is found in 2 Timothy 2:1-2, "You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." The goal is that we, as individual men, will be strengthened by God's grace as we grow in our relationship with Him. As we do, we will desire to pass along what we learn about that grace to other men. Both our large group meetings and small group settings are where that can take place as we study God's Word, pray and encourage one another.

Registered women gather weekly in facilitated small groups, focused on the study of God's Word and care for one another through prayer, service and fellowship.  Tuesday Mornings: 9:30-11:30 am (childcare option; registration required).

Just like our neighbourhoods, schools, and workplaces, Hope Oakville reflects a rich tapestry of languages and culture. Motivated by our love for Jesus Christ, we are seeking people who would benefit from a Conversational English class that focuses on a wide variety of topics relevant to newcomers to Canada and also to those wanting to practice English language skills. Our classes will include a biblical perspective on each topic.

As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Psalm 116 says, "I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live." Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together. It will provide the practical applications of handling finances, getting to the heart of the matter. Hope Twenties is a Group Life opportunity for anyone aged 18-25. Twenties meets twice a month on Thursdays at 7 PM at Hope Bible Church for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Twenties that desire to join a small group also meet twice per month at the church and in home in the Halton area.

If you, or someone you love struggles with anxiety consider joining this 9-week care and support group. The focus of this group is to allow the Gospel of Jesus Christ to speak to emotional suffering, and to find our identity not in an issue but rather in the person of Christ. Both men and women are invited to this group which will be facilitated by Soul Care team members. There will be video based teaching each week along with time for smaller group discussion and prayer. As this is an in-person class, space is limited.

This one-session course will provide a biblical study on believer’s baptism and lend assistance in preparation for baptism at Hope Bible Church.
