The Bookstore Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and management of the bookstore at Hope Bible Church Oakville.
JOB DETAILS
- Position type: Part-time, permanent position.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week (an expectation for a presence on Sunday and remaining hours between Monday-Friday. Generally on-site, with flexibility for remote hours)
- Reports to: Director of Finance.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers, including Sunday shift scheduling and communications
- Acquire new inventory as required, including:
- Hope Institute requirements
- Resources for other ministries (e.g., Soul Care, Men’s, Women’s, Groups, etc.)
- Approved group book study materials
- New releases from approved publishers (researching and discerning materials in collaboration with pastoral leadership)
- Replenishment of existing stock
- Resources requested by Pastors
- Coordinate and fulfill group book study requests for approved materials
- Maintain the bookstore inventory management system, including quarterly inventory reconciliation
- Collaborate with Communications, Events, and Special Projects to support conferences, including:
- Preparing and managing inventory for conference merchandise sales
- Coordinating volunteer support for merchandise sales
- Occasionally stocking and selling a guest speaker’s books
- Manage staff needs including staff usage and processing staff order forms
- Complete monthly reporting, including purchases, ministry transfers, and staff usage
- Reconcile and balance cash tills weekly and as needed during conferences or special events
- Maintain and troubleshoot bookstore computer equipment
- Ensure the bookstore is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Secondary School diploma is required

The Director of Worship will provide spiritual, musical, and technical leadership to the areas of worship and production. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service Planning
- Collaborate with the pastoral team to plan and organize worship services, ensuring a cohesive and impactful experience.

The Administrative Assistant at Hope Orangeville serves the church by providing organized, proactive, and reliable administrative support that ensures volunteers, lay leaders, and the church at large are equipped and set up to serve effectively. Kids Ministry Support
