The Creative Communications Specialist will work closely with our communications team, church leaders, and ministry teams to develop and execute content strategies across multiple channels.
POSITION STATUS: Full time (40hrs/week)*
* This is a Monday–Friday role, but there will be an expectation to work extra hours/shift the working week to accommodate time for internal conferences (Free Indeed, Radiant, GCC) and special events (Easter, Christmas, Hope Together, Ministry Year Launch, etc.). This will be compensated.
SUPERVISOR: Director of Creative & Communications
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to write effective promotional materials and messaging for events, conferences and ministry initiatives, ensuring their messages are effectively communicated to the congregation and broader community.
- Craft compelling and relevant content for our website, social media platforms, email campaigns, video scripts, newsletters, print communication, and other communication materials. This often extends past writing copy and can mean speaking into visual projects, brand design, communications strategies and other projects relevant to the Creative and Communications team.
- Create engaging social media copy for social campaigns and posts that foster interaction, response and connection among members and potential visitors.
- Maintain consistency and work on creating and maintaining a house style so that the tone, style, and messaging throughout all written/produced materials are consistent and professional (this includes extensive editing and content proofing).
- Help execute the existing comprehensive communication strategy for Hope Bible Church Oakville.
- Create and manage content for various platforms, including (but not limited to) script writing, social media captions, website copy, email campaigns, and print materials (proofreading).
- Leverage storytelling to highlight the impact of our ministries and share testimonies that encourage and inspire.
- Monitor trends and metrics to optimize communication effectiveness.
- Conduct industry research and stay ahead of and updated on trends to keep our communication efforts fresh and impactful.
- Work with the Director of Creative & Communications to effectively schedule tasks for the team, increasing and optimizing team workflow deliverables.
- Assist with administrative duties to help organize and allow the Creative & Communications department to continue performing efficiently.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a communications-related subject.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar job role/creative environment.
- Ability to multi-task and complete assigned jobs effectively and efficiently regardless of working individually or with a team.
- An ability to produce high-quality work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail, with strengths in written, verbal and visual communication.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and website content management systems.

The Director of Worship will provide spiritual, musical, and technical leadership to the areas of worship and production. This position requires a strong alignment with Hope Bible Church's vision and direction. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Planning
- Collaborate with the pastoral team to plan and organize worship services, ensuring a cohesive and impactful experience.
- Lead and coordinate worship music for all church services, events, and special occasions.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the worship and production team, including vocalists, musicians, and technical support with the support of the Music Director and Production Manager.
- Ensure that HBCO is on the forefront of technical and musical excellence in a way that aligns with our mission and vision
Spiritual Leadership
- Foster a culture of worship that is one of spirit and truth.
- Assist in growing our staff team and volunteers in their depth of knowledge of God which leads to godly character.

- 5-10 years of experience in vocational worship ministry leadership.
- Strong musical proficiency and experience leading worship teams.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work a full (8 hour) day on their feet.
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment such as lights, instruments, and gear for short periods of time.

The Facility Maintenance Cleaning Staff is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep of the facility to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean, stock, and maintain designated facility areas (including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and ceiling vent maintenance).
- Conduct and document routine inspections and maintenance activities.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks and support special cleaning projects as needed.
- Report maintenance issues or repair needs to management.
- Make minor repairs and adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and stock rooms.

The Senior Pastor of Hope Bible Church Orangeville will join the existing group of believers who gather for weekly worship in Orangeville, ON, to provide spiritual leadership, Biblical preaching and teaching, pastoral shepherding, and Spirit-led vision.

ROLE
Preach the Word (2 Timothy 4:1-2)
- Commit to Expository and Unapologetic Preaching
- Commit to seeing others raised up to preach and teach

- Receive and sort daily mail or parcel deliveries from couriers.
