An Outplacement Workshop for participants who are struggling to find work or meaningful employment will have three (3) key supports: 1. Job Search Strategies Provides practical Skills and Strategies that will equip people to be more effective in Job Search.  Topics will include: Resume Writing, Interviewing skills and Networking 2. Spiritual Perspectives - Acknowledges the emotional realities that participants face in Job Search;  - Provides spiritual truths of joblessness and persistent unemployment, deepening participants’ faith 3. Hope Young Adults is a Group Life opportunity for anyone aged 18-25. Young Adults meets twice a month on Thursdays at 7 PM at Hope Bible Church and in homes in the Halton area for small groups.

We are God's workmanship, created in Christ for good works. The world of work presents both difficult challenges and wonderful opportunities to serve and glorify Christ. This combined large group gathering of all fields seeks to explore the intersection of faith and work. Whether you are grappling with ethical dilemmas at work, or simply looking to connect with other like-minded believers, we look forward to learning and growing together. Join us as we gather in fellowship for encouragement and practical discussion on how to live out our faith in the workplace. The Women's Prayer Morning is a time of simplicity, to join together to seek the Lord's face as we pray expectantly through his Word. In times of disaster, people are often most open to the love of Christ. Letting our light shine means being ready to show up when it matters most, with hands ready to help and hearts ready to listen. Join us for this workshop on providing immediate service in community crisis situations as Samaritan's Purse leads us in how to respond to local disasters as a church so that we can be the hands and feet of Jesus.   The goal behind this workshop is to equip and prepare us as a church to effectively respond in the event of a disaster, as well as provide us with tangible ministry and community engagement ideas to love our neighbour in the absence of crisis.   Learn more about Local Disaster Response and consider being part of the core team behind Hope’s effort to establish this initiative and build bridges with our community. This one-session class is for those that are Thinking About Marriage. Topics include (but are not limited to) the definition of marriage, God's design for marriage, sex within marriage, what does marriage illustrate, and why premarital counselling is essential. Discussions will centre around teaching the Biblical view of Marriage. *This is a prerequisite for any one participating in our Premarital Ministry.
