Discover your role in reaching the nations

WHY GLOBAL MISSIONS?

God calls every believer to play a part in expanding His kingdom around the world. You’re a participant in the “greater story”— God’s plan to bring redemption to all peoples.

But where do you start? What is global mission work? What opportunities are even out there?

Missions is kingdom-advancing work for Christ on a global scale, inspired by Jesus’ call to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). These efforts include,

  • Planting new churches
  • Strengthening existing churches
  • Training and supporting pastors
  • Translating the Bible
  • And more

What does have to do with you? Read more below to find out.

And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Secret Church

Secret Church

April 11, 6:30PM - April 12, 2AM
About “Secret Church?” Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered among underground Asian house churches where believers were forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their own lives due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families. Secret Church is an opportunity for us to gather and intensely study the Bible and pray like and for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Radical’s Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that happens annually. Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we will meet for nearly 6 hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted. 2025 THEME: THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW We’re all hard-wired to want to make our lives count. None of us wants to get to the end of life, look back, and realize, “I missed the point.” So how do we make our lives count? This step-by-step journey through the life of Jesus in the book of Matthew will reveal a clear answer to that question. And for all who are bold enough to follow his lead, by God’s grace we are guaranteed to get to the end of our time in this world and realize, “My life counted for what matters most.” EVENT COST: $25 includes the simulcast and light snacks throughout the evening. WHAT TO EXPECT: Join us for a 6 hour deep dive as we walk step-by-step through the Gospel of Matthew. Pray and support the church in Indonesia, North Korea, Myanmar, and other hard to reach places. Be encouraged to make your life count for what matters most by following Jesus and making him known in your neighborhood and among all nations.

Local Compassion

Every day is a Go Time opportunity

Our Compassion Ministry exists to reach the nations in the Oakville area by pointing them to Christ and connecting them to the local church.

LONG-TERM Sending

The path to long-term sending

A long-term missionary is equipped and sent out by the local church to proclaim the gospel, disciple believers and then plant and strengthen local churches. This is done across ethnic, linguistic, and/or geographical barriers. We take seriously our role, as the church, to train and send out qualified men and women to the nations. This process can take several years to complete.

For a further in-depth look at the sending process, please view our Missionary Sending Pathway below.
