WHY GLOBAL MISSIONS?

God calls every believer to play a part in expanding His kingdom around the world. You’re a participant in the “greater story”— God’s plan to bring redemption to all peoples.

But where do you start? What is global mission work? What opportunities are even out there?

Missions is kingdom-advancing work for Christ on a global scale, inspired by Jesus’ call to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). These efforts include,

A long-term missionary is someone who commits their lives to multiplying the gospel, disciples, and churches amongst the nations. This could be done as a vocational missionary or as a marketplace missionary who leverages their job, education, or retirement to serve on a church-planting team.
