There is HOPE for you, His name is JESUS

Sunday Services at 8:30AM, 10:30AM & 12:30PM
New to Hope?

You won't feel new for long!

At Hope Bible Church, we are dedicated to glorifying God through the fulfilment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). This means we strive to make disciples of Jesus Christ, and walk with them as they become more like Him. What does that actually look like? What can you expect on Sunday? We’d love to share more about our church with you.

Click. Swipe. Scroll. Don’t want to miss out. What’s the next video? Just one more. What are people talking about? It’s hard to focus. Feeling distracted. Maybe depressed. Click. Swipe. Scroll. Meanwhile... A host of angels gaze forever and ever into perfect love and beauty, anticipating the day when our souls will experience perfect peace, as they declare, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty.” What are you focused on? Thank you for your interest in joining us at CrossCon25 in Louisville, Kentucky! We are excited to hear from an array of speakers; including, David Platt, John Piper, and Kevin Deyoung, who will speak on topics centred around the gospel, the local church and God's heart for the nations. The conference is designed for 18-25 year olds and will be held on January 2-4, 2025. We plan to depart on the morning of January 1st and will leave right after the conference on the afternoon of January 4th. We are expecting to arrive back at our church after midnight. The leaders of our church are passionate about seeing this generation making their lives count for Christ and want to invest in you to see that you can attend this conference. We are thankful that we can keep the cost the same at $300 CAD, which will include; the conference ticket, accommodations and transportation! The only additional cost to you would be food and anything bought at the conference. We are excited to see how the Lord will use this conference in the lives of this generation! Please email Maddie Burella at [email protected] if you have any questions. The link to register and pay is below. *For individuals who do not consider Hope Bible Church Oakville their home church, kindly note that this event is reserved for our church family. Please be advised that non-HBCO registrations may result in cancellation of your registration and the subsequent refund of your payment.

Practical Theology 1

Practical Theology 1

Monday, January 13, 7PM - 9PM
Practical Theology 1, an eight-week class, will run from January 13 to , March 17 2025.  The Practical Theology classes are based on a curriculum prayerfully and collaboratively developed in-house by our Hope Soul Care team over the past several years. In this class you will experience live teaching and participate in breakout groups, that will help us explore how God's word can be powerfully applied in our daily experience of suffering, in our daily battle against sin, and in our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 1 focuses specifically on suffering, sin and repentance and our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 2 builds on the foundation laid in Practical Theology 1 and looks at what it looks like to walk in the Lord in faith as we pursue humility, contentment, peace, love, joy, gratitude and hope. The required prerequisites for Practical Theology 1 include Following Jesus, Heart Resurgence, or other Hope classes / ministry involvement  (i.e. Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Hope Institute classes). Please email [email protected] for more information or if you are unclear about prerequisites. The printed curriculum is $50. You will receive the material on the first night of class. This book contains the content for both Practical Theology 1 and Practical Theology 2, so no additional purchases are required after this initial payment. (*Please note that Practical Theology 2, also an eight-week class, will be offered in the Spring of 2025).
