Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together. Evangelism is the overflow of knowing and loving God. When we behold the glory of God in the gospel of Jesus Christ, we cannot help but tell others about Him! Join us for a five-week training course in which we’ll examine the what, why, and how of evangelism as we learn how to share the gospel biblically, naturally, and effectively. Within this class students will develop and practice skills in sharing their testimonies and reaching those around them with the message of Christ. Watch this video to learn more.

Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. The group is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and who want to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. The program includes a video seminar, followed by a group discussion. The registration fee for the course is $30 and includes the GriefShare workbook, a great asset for note-taking, journaling, and grief study. This course runs for 13 weeks.

Following Jesus is a course designed for those who want to continue to study God’s Word regularly and learn how to practice the basics of Christian living. This eight-week study unpacks Hope Bible Church’s 5G Life discipleship model and outlines the corresponding responsibilities and privileges in living a life that pleases God. This course is for anyone seeking to grow in Christ, and each class involves active participation, memorization of Scripture, and a time for a discussion. *NOTE: Knowing Jesus is a prerequisite requirement before taking this class. It is appropriate for newlyweds and also couples who have been married many years.  This course is based on Paul Tripp's "What Did You Expect" resource.  Participants will watch a video each week and there will be time for discussion. Join us January 12th for a screening of "One Morning at Dawn"! This Samaritan’s Purse documentary film features compelling footage and stories captured during our ongoing response in Ukraine.  This powerful evening will also feature a panel discussion with members of Samaritan’s Purse staff and Disaster Assistance Response Team (D.A.R.T.) who have served in Ukraine and Europe, assisting Ukrainian refugees. The Disaster Assistance Response Team members are crucial to a response, and Samaritan’s Purse is looking for people who would be interested in serving with us.

Men's Group Life exists to bring men of all walks and ages together weekly, for collective devotional time and prayer, followed by small group time. In these leader-facilitated small groups, men will engage in intentional study the Word of God, Bible based prayer together, and engage in fellowship for accountability and sanctification. Please note that you must register to join a men's group.

Practical Theology 1, an eight-week class, will run from January 13 to , March 17 2025.  The Practical Theology classes are based on a curriculum prayerfully and collaboratively developed in-house by our Hope Soul Care team over the past several years. In this class you will experience live teaching and participate in breakout groups, that will help us explore how God's word can be powerfully applied in our daily experience of suffering, in our daily battle against sin, and in our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 1 focuses specifically on suffering, sin and repentance and our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 2 builds on the foundation laid in Practical Theology 1 and looks at what it looks like to walk in the Lord in faith as we pursue humility, contentment, peace, love, joy, gratitude and hope. The required prerequisites for Practical Theology 1 include Following Jesus, Heart Resurgence, or other Hope classes / ministry involvement  (i.e. Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Hope Institute classes). What is Family Night? Hey Hope Families, we are excited to offer a new initiative we are calling - Hope Kids Family Nights!  Family Nights is designed for parents and their children in grades SK to 5.   Our aim is to come alongside families, equipping them to train up their child in the way they should go so that they will not depart from the Christian faith (Proverbs 22:6).  Our hope is to bring families together by exploring fundamental Gospel truths through the use of a catechism to encourage open discussion surrounding God, rooting His truths in our hearts, and growing a deeper relationship with Jesus.  Psalm 78:7 - setting hope in God; know and obey His commands. Both parents and their child are required to register to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Psalm 116 says, "I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live." Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together. Hope Twenties is a Group Life opportunity for anyone aged 18-25. Twenties meets twice a month on Thursdays at 7 PM at Hope Bible Church for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Twenties that desire to join a small group also meet twice per month at the church and in home in the Halton area.

Evangelism is the overflow of knowing and loving God. When we behold the glory of God in the gospel of Jesus Christ, we cannot help but tell others about Him! Join us for a five-week training course in which we’ll examine the what, why, and how of evangelism as we learn how to share the gospel biblically, naturally, and effectively. Within this class students will develop and practice skills in sharing their testimonies and reaching those around them with the message of Christ. Watch this video to learn more.

Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. The group is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and who want to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. The program includes a video seminar, followed by a group discussion. The registration fee for the course is $30 and includes the GriefShare workbook, a great asset for note-taking, journaling, and grief study. This course runs for 13 weeks.

Following Jesus is a course designed for those who want to continue to study God’s Word regularly and learn how to practice the basics of Christian living. This eight-week study unpacks Hope Bible Church’s 5G Life discipleship model and outlines the corresponding responsibilities and privileges in living a life that pleases God. This course is for anyone seeking to grow in Christ, and each class involves active participation, memorization of Scripture, and a time for a discussion. *NOTE: Knowing Jesus is a prerequisite requirement before taking this class. Men's Group Life exists to bring men of all walks and ages together weekly, for collective devotional time and prayer, followed by small group time. In these leader-facilitated small groups, men will engage in intentional study the Word of God, Bible based prayer together, and engage in fellowship for accountability and sanctification.
