There is HOPE for you, His name is JESUS

Sunday Services at 8:30AM, 10:30AM & 12:30PM
New to Hope?

You won't feel new for long!

At Hope Bible Church, we are dedicated to glorifying God through the fulfilment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). This means we strive to make disciples of Jesus Christ, and walk with them as they become more like Him. What does that actually look like? What can you expect on Sunday? We’d love to share more about our church with you.

Practical Theology 1

Practical Theology 1

Monday, March 17, 7PM - 9PM
Practical Theology 1, an eight-week class, will run from January 20 to , March 24 2025.  The Practical Theology classes are based on a curriculum prayerfully and collaboratively developed in-house by our Hope Soul Care team over the past several years. In this class you will experience live teaching and participate in breakout groups, that will help us explore how God's word can be powerfully applied in our daily experience of suffering, in our daily battle against sin, and in our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 1 focuses specifically on suffering, sin and repentance and our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 2 builds on the foundation laid in Practical Theology 1 and looks at what it looks like to walk in the Lord in faith as we pursue humility, contentment, peace, love, joy, gratitude and hope. The required prerequisites for Practical Theology 1 include Following Jesus, Heart Resurgence, or other Hope classes / ministry involvement  (i.e. Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Hope Institute classes). Please email [email protected] for more information or if you are unclear about prerequisites. The printed curriculum is $50. You will receive the material on the first night of class. This book contains the content for both Practical Theology 1 and Practical Theology 2, so no additional purchases are required after this initial payment. (*Please note that Practical Theology 2, also an eight-week class, will be offered in the Spring of 2025).

CBCC Conference

CBCC Conference

March 21, 8:30AM - March 22, 4PM
Canadian Biblical Counselling Coalition 2025 ConferenceIdentity is something that is unmistakably wrapped up in the fabric of our society.  Whether we recognize it or not, each of us is on a journey to find out where our identity lies. Yet, for so many people, identity feels like something elusive and transient, or inescapable and frustrating. The wonderful truth is that when we come to saving faith in Christ, we are given a new identity – one that is imperishable and unshakable.  We invite you to join us as we unpack this valuable truth and how it impacts those we counsel. Whether you are a seasoned counsellor, pastor, lay counsellor, student or someone looking to grow in how to be a godly friend, there will be something for everyone! Secret Church

Secret Church

April 11, 6:30PM - April 12, 2AM
About “Secret Church?” Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered among underground Asian house churches where believers were forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their own lives due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families. Secret Church is an opportunity for us to gather and intensely study the Bible and pray like and for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Radical’s Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that happens annually. Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we will meet for nearly 6 hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted. 2025 THEME: THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW We’re all hard-wired to want to make our lives count. None of us wants to get to the end of life, look back, and realize, “I missed the point.” So how do we make our lives count? This step-by-step journey through the life of Jesus in the book of Matthew will reveal a clear answer to that question. And for all who are bold enough to follow his lead, by God’s grace we are guaranteed to get to the end of our time in this world and realize, “My life counted for what matters most.” EVENT COST: $25 includes the simulcast and light snacks throughout the evening. WHAT TO EXPECT: Join us for a 6 hour deep dive as we walk step-by-step through the Gospel of Matthew. Pray and support the church in Indonesia, North Korea, Myanmar, and other hard to reach places. Be encouraged to make your life count for what matters most by following Jesus and making him known in your neighborhood and among all nations.
