Compassion Update
In southern Peru, there’s a town surrounded by mountains called Sicuani. The people who live there have faced hardships over the last few years, and a local church was willing to care for the hurting around them. However, resources were scarce.
Compassion Canada, one of our missions partners, let us know about this opportunity to come alongside that church, and in January 2021 we raised enough funds to support them. You can read encouraging updates about how God is working HERE.
In December, Dean Billings sat down with Pastor Robbie during a service to give a full update. During that update, we were invited to sponsor a child in Peru, and our goal was to see 100 children sponsored by our church family.
Thank the Lord with us, because as of today our church has newly sponsored 122 children!
That’s 122 little ones who are known, loved, and cared for by our Compassion partners in their local churches—cared for physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Watch the video below to hear a special message from Dean Billings.
