Join us for a five-week training course in which we’ll examine the what, why, and how of evangelism as we learn how to share the gospel biblically, naturally, and effectively. Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. The group is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and who want to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. The program includes a video seminar, followed by a group discussion. The registration fee for the course is $30 and includes the GriefShare workbook, a great asset for note-taking, journaling, and grief study. This course runs for 13 weeks.

This program will introduce students to key concepts that are most relevant to their next stage of life. The heart will be prepared by understanding what the Bible has to say about God’s will, parties, and dating. The head will be prepared by learning how to articulate the Biblical worldview on some of the day’s more controversial topics as it relates to being a modern-day Christian. Emphasis will be placed on challenging students to think critically about being a follower of Jesus and practicing articulation of the Biblical worldview.

Students will be exposed to arguments for the existence of God, the plausibility of the resurrection, the reliability of Scripture, the nature and necessity of faith, and the reality of evil. Course Description: The Gospel flourished in the soil of a real world, characterized by its intersection between the Roman Empire, Greek culture, and Hebrew theology. Students taking this course will be introduced to the historical elements of the New Testament to better comprehend the undercurrents framing the realities of the New Testament. In addition, students will be exposed to the structure, content, theology, and Old Testament background of the New Testament and its individual books. Objectives: By the end of the course, participants will be able to: Understand the history of the notable factors leading up to and influencing the New TestamentExplain the meaning, significance, and reception of the canon of the New TestamentProvide cogent responses as to why some books were not included in the New Testament canonApply key tenants of the course to one’s spiritual discipline of Bible intake Prerequisites: None

Join us starting to learn more about the Christian faith. Christianity Explored is a class that unpacks the best news ever heard and gives people space and time to think about life's big questions. Over 8 sessions in Mark's Gospel, we will find out about the person at the heart of the Christian faith - Jesus Christ.

Men's Group Life exists to bring men of all walks and ages together weekly, for collective devotional time and prayer, followed by small group time. In these leader-facilitated small groups, men will engage in intentional study the Word of God, Bible based prayer together, and engage in fellowship for accountability and sanctification. Please note that you must register to join a men's group.

The Practical Theology 8 week classes are based on a curriculum prayerfully and collaboratively developed in-house by our Hope Soul Care team over the past several years. In this class you will experience live teaching and participate in breakout groups that will help us explore how God's word can be powerfully applied in our daily experience of suffering, in our daily battle against sin, and in our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 1 focuses specifically on suffering, sin and repentance and our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 2 builds on the foundation laid in PT 1 and looks at what it looks like to walk in the Lord in faith as we pursue humility, contentment, peace, love, joy, gratitude and hope. The required prerequisites for Practical Theology 1 include Following Jesus, Heart Resurgence, or other Hope classes / ministry involvement  (i.e. Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Hope Institute classes). What is Family Night? Hey Hope Families, we are excited to offer a new initiative we are calling - Hope Kids Family Nights!  Family Nights is designed for parents and their children in grades SK to 5.   Our aim is to come alongside families, equipping them to train up their child in the way they should go so that they will not depart from the Christian faith (Proverbs 22:6).  Our hope is to bring families together by exploring fundamental Gospel truths through the use of a catechism to encourage open discussion surrounding God, rooting His truths in our hearts, and growing a deeper relationship with Jesus.  Psalm 78:7 - setting hope in God; know and obey His commands. Both parents and their child are required to register to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Psalm 116 says, "I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live." About “Secret Church?” Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered among underground Asian house churches where believers were forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their own lives due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families. Secret Church is an opportunity for us to gather and intensely study the Bible and pray like and for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Radical’s Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that happens annually. Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we will meet for nearly 6 hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted. 2025 THEME: THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW We’re all hard-wired to want to make our lives count. None of us wants to get to the end of life, look back, and realize, “I missed the point.” So how do we make our lives count? This step-by-step journey through the life of Jesus in the book of Matthew will reveal a clear answer to that question. And for all who are bold enough to follow his lead, by God’s grace we are guaranteed to get to the end of our time in this world and realize, “My life counted for what matters most.” EVENT COST: $25 includes the simulcast and light snacks throughout the evening. Hope Youth Senior High students are invited to our upcoming Senior High Fall retreat. This retreat is for Grades 9-12 students attending Hope Youth. We look forward to a time filled with worship, time in God's Word, and time with leaders and friends. No transportation will be provided for this retreat. Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their student(s). *PLEASE NOTE* Retreats are an intentional time of worship, teaching, and community for our small groups. We ask that students be committed to the entire weekend and that you make sure they do not request to come late or leave early. This is a distraction for everyone. Following Jesus is a course designed for those who want to continue to study God’s Word regularly and learn how to practice the basics of Christian living. This eight-week study unpacks Hope Bible Church’s 5G Life discipleship model and outlines the corresponding responsibilities and privileges in living a life that pleases God. Men's Group Life exists to bring men of all walks and ages together weekly, for collective devotional time and prayer, followed by small group time. In these leader-facilitated small groups, men will engage in intentional study the Word of God, Bible based prayer together, and engage in fellowship for accountability and sanctification. Please note that you must register to join a men's group.

The Practical Theology 8 week classes are based on a curriculum prayerfully and collaboratively developed in-house by our Hope Soul Care team over the past several years. In this class you will experience live teaching and participate in breakout groups that will help us explore how God's word can be powerfully applied in our daily experience of suffering, in our daily battle against sin, and in our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 1 focuses specifically on suffering, sin and repentance and our daily pursuit of holiness. Practical Theology 2 builds on the foundation laid in PT 1 and looks at what it looks like to walk in the Lord in faith as we pursue humility, contentment, peace, love, joy, gratitude and hope. The required prerequisites for Practical Theology 1 include Following Jesus, Heart Resurgence, or other Hope classes / ministry involvement  (i.e. Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Hope Institute classes). As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. The group is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and who want to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. The program includes a video seminar, followed by a group discussion. The registration fee for the course is $30 and includes the GriefShare workbook, a great asset for note-taking, journaling, and grief study. This course runs for 13 weeks.

Following Jesus is a course designed for those who want to continue to study God’s Word regularly and learn how to practice the basics of Christian living. This eight-week study unpacks Hope Bible Church’s 5G Life discipleship model and outlines the corresponding responsibilities and privileges in living a life that pleases God. This course is for anyone seeking to grow in Christ, and each class involves active participation, memorization of Scripture, and a time for a discussion. *NOTE: Knowing Jesus is a prerequisite requirement before taking this class. Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together.
