Hope Young Adults is a Group Life opportunity for anyone aged 18-25. Young Adults meets twice a month on Thursdays at 7 PM at Hope Bible Church for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Twenties that desire to join a small group also meet twice per month at the church and in home in the Halton area.

An Outplacement Workshop for participants who are struggling to find work or meaningful employment will have three (3) key supports: 1. Job Search Strategies Provides practical Skills and Strategies that will equip people to be more effective in Job Search.  Topics will include: Resume Writing, Interviewing skills and Networking 2. Spiritual Perspectives - Acknowledges the emotional realities that participants face in Job Search;  - Provides spiritual truths of joblessness and persistent unemployment, deepening participants’ faith 3. Join us as we live life on mission packing shoeboxes together as a church! One simple shoebox filled with supplies and toys can change a child’s life forever. That’s because an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox is so much more than just a physical gift, it’s missions in action. It is a demonstration of Christ’s love that often comes with a 12-lesson discipleship course that teaches children to know Jesus as their Saviour and become equipped to share Him with others. These shoeboxes are opportunities to share the gospel of Christ’s love with a child who may never have received a gift before in their lives. Pray with us that this gift is so much more than items in a box, it’s an eternal relationship with Jesus our Saviour. When? Saturday, November 7 from 9:30AM - 11:30AM Where? Church foyer What? Packing shoeboxes together as a church family When you register, please let us know how many boxes your household plans on packing that morning. The cost to pack a box is $20. This money goes entirely towards buying the items for each box. All supplies will be provided for you to pack. The deadline to register is Thursday, November 5th. Have you been a believer in Christ for some time, but realize you need to learn more about the Bible and what it teaches? Do you need some reassurance about your faith in God and want to dig deeper to know for sure that you know Him? Do you want a relationship with Jesus Christ but don’t quite know how to get there? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, this is the study for you. This one-session class is for those that are Thinking About Marriage. Topics include (but are not limited to) the definition of marriage, God's design for marriage, sex within marriage, what does marriage illustrate, and why premarital counselling is essential. Discussions will centre around teaching the Biblical view of Marriage. *This is a prerequisite for any one participating in our Premarital Ministry.
