Hope Young Adults is a Group Life opportunity for anyone aged 18-25. Young Adults meets twice a month on Thursdays at 7 PM at Hope Bible Church and in homes in the Halton area for small groups.

Topic:Mental health is a topic of ongoing conversation in our world today, but it is a topic that is not always clearly defined. For many Christians, there is often confusion around this area of mental health, which raises questions like: What does the Bible teach us about mental health?How should Christians think about terms like ‘mental illness’?Where does medication fit in the care of struggling Christians?We invite you to join us as we wrestle with these questions and seek the wisdom of God, given to us in the Bible. Whether you are a seasoned counsellor, pastor, lay counsellor, student or someone looking to grow in how to be a godly friend, there will be something for everyone! Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. The group is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and who want to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. The program includes a video seminar, followed by a group discussion. The registration fee for the course is $35 and includes the GriefShare workbook, a great asset for note-taking, journaling, and grief study. This course runs for 13 weeks.

It is appropriate for newlyweds and also couples who have been married many years.  This course is based on Paul Tripp's "What Did You Expect" resource.  Participants will watch a video each week and there will be time for discussion. There are also some minimal homework / reflection questions each week. Participants will be provided with a course book at the first class. Cost is $20 per person ($40 a couple). Course Description: The New Testament presents Jesus as both God and man. Such revelation of the Son of God has been the subject of endless discussions for two millennia. This course will seek to unpack major aspects related to Jesus’ divine and human nature. Topics such as the virgin birth, the scope and limits of Jesus’ knowledge, the theological connection between Jesus and sin, and the like will be presented with a careful eye toward the Scriptures. This program will introduce students to key concepts that are most relevant to their next stage of life. The heart will be prepared by understanding what the Bible has to say about God’s will, parties, and dating. The head will be prepared by learning how to articulate the Biblical worldview on some of the day’s more controversial topics as it relates to being a modern-day Christian. Emphasis will be placed on challenging students to think critically about being a follower of Jesus and practicing articulation of the Biblical worldview.
