Recovery Church Hamilton serves as both a church community and a recovery fellowship, offering a welcoming place where you can feel safe and supported. We focus on Jesus and the recovery journey, including the 12 Steps. Everyone is welcome to join us! We gather every Wednesday at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM, at 286 Sanford Ave North, Hamilton, ON L8L 6A1. As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Psalm 116 says, "I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live." Grades 9 - 12 attend Sr High Ministry. Each evening includes worship, teaching, and small group time. The messages are preached straight out of the Bible and are taught in a way you can understand and apply to your own life. Small groups are divided by gender and grade, here you discuss questions based on the evening's teaching, followed by accountability time and prayer. Just like our neighbourhoods, schools, and workplaces, Hope Oakville reflects a rich tapestry of languages and culture. Motivated by our love for Jesus Christ, we are seeking people who would benefit from a Conversational English class that focuses on a wide variety of topics relevant to newcomers to Canada and also to those wanting to practice English language skills. Our classes will include a biblical perspective on each topic.

Hope Young Adults is a community for anyone ages 18–25 who wants to grow in their relationship with Jesus, build meaningful friendships, and live on mission together. We gather at the church every Thursday at 7 PM for worship, teaching, and community. Want to get connected? We would love to have your student(s) join us for our upcoming JR High Winter Retreat. When - January 22-24, 2027 Where - Muskoka Woods Drop off - Transportation is provided. January 22–23, 2027 Love Your Neighbour Training When Jesus encountered the Samaritan woman at the well, he met her exactly where she was, using metaphors of water and thirst. In that moment, he opened the door to living water, to being fully known, and to grace that didn't wait for her to first clean up. (John 4) Every person you pass has a story you don't know. The neighbour, the coworker, the stranger struggling with addiction, poverty, or a broken family… their story is deeper and more complicated than what we often know. So how do we love people well when we don't have the full picture? This year's Love Your Neighbour training invites you to look again at the story of Jesus and the stories all around us. Together we'll explore:The story that changed everything: a deep dive into Jesus' impact on our world, and how it gives us confidence to engage meaningfully with people from every background and perspective.The story you don't know: learning why we can never fully know another person's story, and how that truth should shape humility and compassion in the way we see others.The story that connects to the gospel: like Jesus with the woman at the well, discovering how to connect the gospel to everyday life, even in a world that questions the existence of God and heaven.Through focused teaching, personal stories, and breakout sessions, you'll leave equipped to:Learn to connect with others the way Jesus didGrow in wisdom to combat unrighteous judgment and see people the way God doesConfidently connect the gospel to real life in a skeptical worldRegister today and be encouraged as you live life on mission.
