Hope Young Adults is a Group Life opportunity for anyone aged 18-25. Young Adults meets twice a month on Thursdays at 7 PM at Hope Bible Church and in homes in the Halton area for small groups.

Join us for pre-service prayer every Sunday morning at 7:45 a.m.  We meet in Room 210 for 30 minutes of prayer, worshipping and seeking the Lord for His will to be done in the services that day.  For more information contact George Schuurman at [email protected]

Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. The group is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and who want to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. The program includes a video seminar, followed by a group discussion. The registration fee for the course is $35 and includes the GriefShare workbook, a great asset for note-taking, journaling, and grief study. This course runs for 13 weeks.

Course Description: The New Testament presents Jesus as both God and man. Such revelation of the Son of God has been the subject of endless discussions for two millennia. This course will seek to unpack major aspects related to Jesus’ divine and human nature. Topics such as the virgin birth, the scope and limits of Jesus’ knowledge, the theological connection between Jesus and sin, and the like will be presented with a careful eye toward the Scriptures. Objectives: By the end of the course, participants will be able to: Understand the major debates related to Jesus’s divine and human natures and Give a biblical explanation of Jesus’ relationship with the Father and the SpiritRespond to non-biblical teachings about the person of the Son of GodProvide biblical answers to general questions concerning Jesus’ natureApply course content to personal Scripture meditation, evangelism, and discipleshipDuration - 8 weeks Prerequisites:  Introduction to Theology *If the cost of the class presents any difficulty, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. We know we have some Hope Family members who love playing sports. We want to invite you to Hope Sports, every Sunday night here at the church. The night begins at 7:30 PM, and we will play either volleyball or soccer. There is no cost, all you have to do is show up and be age 14 or up! This is an informal time of fun and fellowship, even if you don’t play sports, feel free to still come out and watch. For more information, you can check out the Hope Sports Facebook page.

Men's Group Life exists to bring men of all walks and ages together weekly, for collective devotional time and prayer, followed by small group time. In these leader-facilitated small groups, men will engage in intentional study the Word of God, Bible based prayer together, and engage in fellowship for accountability and sanctification. Please note that you must register to join a men's group.
