About “Secret Church?” Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered among underground Asian house churches where believers were forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their own lives due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families. Secret Church is an opportunity for us to gather and intensely study the Bible and pray like and for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Radical’s Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that happens annually. Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we will meet for nearly 6 hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted. 2025 THEME: THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW We’re all hard-wired to want to make our lives count. None of us wants to get to the end of life, look back, and realize, “I missed the point.” So how do we make our lives count? This step-by-step journey through the life of Jesus in the book of Matthew will reveal a clear answer to that question. And for all who are bold enough to follow his lead, by God’s grace we are guaranteed to get to the end of our time in this world and realize, “My life counted for what matters most.” EVENT COST: $25 includes the simulcast and light snacks throughout the evening. WHAT TO EXPECT: Join us for a 6 hour deep dive as we walk step-by-step through the Gospel of Matthew. Pray and support the church in Indonesia, North Korea, Myanmar, and other hard to reach places.
