JR High Day camp 2026

Dear Parents,

Who else is excited about JR High Day Camp 2026?

There's nothing like a week set apart just for JR High Students! This week is jam-packed with laughter, friendships, faith and unforgettable moments. JR High Day Camp isn't just about staying busy; it's about creating space for students to grow and encounter God in a real and personal way.

This year, we dive into 2 Timothy 4:7. We'll be exploring what it means to fight the good fight, run the race set before us, and keep the faith — even when life feels challenging. Each day we meet together for worship, time in God's Word, and small group, followed by an afternoon filled with activities.

We can't wait to see you all this year!

Large Group Sessions

Worship & Word

Large group gatherings are a powerful and purposeful part of the day, bringing students together for worship and teaching centred on a Biblical theme. These sessions are designed to encourage spiritual growth, create a space for students to lift their voices in worship, and help them connect to God’s word in a meaningful way.

Breakout groups

Connection

Breakout groups where students meet with their peers and leaders to unpack what they are learning, ask honest questions, engage in meaningful discussion, and build community. Small groups provide a space for reflection, deeper conversation, and prayer.

Flying Squirrel Waiver

Each student must have a waiver filled out for the Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park through their online website. The link to fill out the waiver is in the registration form.

My child does not attend Hope Youth. Can they still attend camp?

We would love to have the capacity to have everyone who wants to attend be able to join us. Preference will be given to the members of our church family and those who attend Hope Youth on a regular basis. Our capacity is limited, and those who do not attend Hope Youth will be placed on the waiting list and contacted when a spot becomes available. Please do not hesitate to place your student on the waiting list.

Can my student be grouped together with a friend?

Requests for students to be in the same group will be based on age. Not all requests will be possible. In order for your student to be grouped together with a friend, both students must submit the same request on their registration form. One friend request can be honoured, not multiple requests.

Who will contact me in the event of an emergency?

If there is an emergency, every effort will be made to first reach the parent/guardian we have on file. If we aren’t able to reach the parent/guardian, we will then call the emergency contact.

My student has allergies. How do you handle that?

Each leader has a roster explaining the various allergies of students in their group. We do our best to accommodate any allergies when it comes to snacks and treats offered throughout the day

Is my student allowed to bring their electronic devices?

We suggest all phones/electronics/air pods stay at home. Hope Oakville will not assume responsibility for any lost/stolen items during our week of camp.
