The Harvest is Plentiful, the Labourers are Few

In this message in our Life on Mission series, we turn to Matthew 9 where Jesus reminds us that “the harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few.”  These words ring true today—not as a cause for discouragement, but as a reminder of the incredible opportunity before us. The world is hungry for hope and truth, and God is still calling and equipping people to go. Jesus is clear in his call: we must pray fervently and earnestly because when we pray, God moves. But as we pray, we’re also faced with a personal challenge—are we willing to be the answer to that prayer? The Lord is sending—are we willing to step out in obedience? Each of us has been given gifts, time, and a story that God wants to use. Now is the time to step forward with faith, hope, and readiness to be used by the Lord.
