Short-Term Teams provide the people of Hope Bible Church the opportunity to:

1. Grow in maturity as a disciple of Jesus Christ by being challenged in a cross-cultural context

2. Serve alongside and strengthen an international gospel partner in meaningful ways

3. Advance the work of national churches as they share Christ in their communities

This team will travel to Nairobi, Kenya, to serve with Pastor Henry Macharia at Membley Community Chapel. This team will come alongside our brothers and sisters at Membley, helping with discipleship, serving alongside Kenyan leaders during a kids' camp and participating in local outreach opportunities.

We are looking for participants who are great with kids, who have a humble and adaptable spirit, and who are not afraid to get a little tired.

Compassion Exposure Trips allow you to step into an intercultural experience alongside a group of other Hope Bible Church travellers.

This team will be going to Peru in November of 2024. You can explore the home country of the child you sponsor, or perhaps you want to learn more about Compassion’s mission and ministry.

Join us, and you will learn from people in their local church and community while experiencing the local food, games, language and more. We will travel to two primary regions, Lima and then Moyobamba in the North.

The estimated cost for this trip will be $4,800 per person.
