The messages are preached straight out of the Bible and are taught in a way you can understand and apply to your own life. Small groups are divided by gender and grade, here you discuss questions based on the evening's teaching, followed by accountability time and prayer. As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Psalm 116 says, "I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live." Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together. Mamas and Minis takes place every other Thursday Morning (please see schedule below). 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM in the Pre-K/JK rooms Please enter through the doors by the Jungle gym and follow the signage.
