What is a prayer summit? It is a time for God’s people to seek the Lord and His agenda for their individual lives, families, church, and community.It is a gathering of individuals who take seriously their responsibility to corporately prepare their lives and church for an outpouring of God’s blessing.It is a group and individual experience of the glory of Christ within and among His people.It is a prolonged praise and prayer meeting at which individuals from the same church or group discover and express their oneness in Christ.It is an environment where personal revival is nurtured and common.It is a time for repentance and reconciliation.It is a time of spiritual warfare as Christians are led to deal with areas of personal and corporate sin.It is the beginning of a new expressed dependence on God in the church, and the first phase of real revival.What will be our focus? We will seek God’s face more so than His hands.We want to talk to Him, not just about Him.We want to sing to Him, not just about Him.We want to passionately seek to understand, know, and intimately relate to Him, first and foremost.anything else will only be significant if it is in response to this commitment. As we know His heart through this extended time of worship and devotion, we can then respond to His will as His Spirit directs. We come with no personal agendas and we will leave with only one - HIS!

Before you jump in, we want you to have clarity on who we are as a church. This two-week class takes a deeper look into what we believe as a Christian community and seeks to equip you to live out the Christian life here at Hope Oakville.

Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. The group is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and who want to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. The program includes a video seminar, followed by a group discussion. The registration fee for the course is $35 and includes the GriefShare workbook, a great asset for note-taking, journaling, and grief study. This course runs for 13 weeks.

(formerly "Bible Doctrine") Systematic theology is at the center of the church’s knowledge of God and His redemptive work in Christ. As such, it is of crucial importance that believers take theology seriously. This course is custom-designed as an introduction to the foundational topics of the Christian faith. Students will be exposed to theological teachings, such as the nature of God and His word, the concept of sin, faith, and salvation, the necessity of the atonement, the function of the church, and the varying views on the end times.  Objectives: By the end of the nine-week course, participants will be able to: Articulate and provide a biblical defence of key theological topics of the Christian faithUnderstand the existential intersection between worship and truth Apply key concepts to a life of personal devotion and discipleshipCorrect misconceptions and misunderstandings related to theological topicsThis class will be offered in a hybrid version of in-person and online learning, with access to resources, weekly quizzes and a final exam. Course Description: The New Testament presents Jesus as both God and man. Such revelation of the Son of God has been the subject of endless discussions for two millennia. This course will seek to unpack major aspects related to Jesus’ divine and human nature. Topics such as the virgin birth, the scope and limits of Jesus’ knowledge, the theological connection between Jesus and sin, and the like will be presented with a careful eye toward the Scriptures.
