Grade 6 - 8 students attend Jr High Ministry. Each evening includes worship, teaching, and small group time. The messages are preached straight out of the Bible and are taught in a way you can understand and apply to your own life. Small groups are divided by gender and grade, here you discuss questions based on the evening's teaching, followed by accountability time and prayer. Recovery Church Hamilton serves as both a church community and a recovery fellowship, offering a welcoming place where you can feel safe and supported. We focus on Jesus and the recovery journey, including the 12 Steps. Everyone is welcome to join us! We gather every Wednesday at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM, at 286 Sanford Ave North, Hamilton, ON L8L 6A1. As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Psalm 116 says, "I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live."
