Grades 9 - 12 attend Sr High Ministry. Each evening includes worship, teaching, and small group time. The messages are preached straight out of the Bible and are taught in a way you can understand and apply to your own life. Small groups are divided by gender and grade, here you discuss questions based on the evening's teaching, followed by accountability time and prayer. As a youth ministry and a church, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. Apart from the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of students, all of our best efforts will be in vain. We want to come alongside parents and families to pray for students, to pray with parents for their students and to foster a community of families in our church who regularly seek the Lord together in prayer for our students. Psalm 116 says, "I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live." Mamas & Minis is back up and running! It offers moms a place to meet and connect with other moms outside of the weekend. It is a great resource for moms who are new to Hope Oakville or moms who are looking for community. We are so blessed to have a facility that allows play and fun for the kids and great space for moms to chat and get to know one another. We have a new program for Play Day which includes free play, song & story time and an opportunity for moms to chat and pray with one another. Bring the kiddies, some of your own nut-free snacks, and enjoy some coffee and fellowship together. Mamas and Minis takes place every other Thursday Morning (please see schedule below). 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM in the Pre-K/JK rooms Please enter through the doors by the Jungle gym and follow the signage. Just like our neighbourhoods, schools, and workplaces, Hope Oakville reflects a rich tapestry of languages and culture. Motivated by our love for Jesus Christ, we are seeking people who would benefit from a Conversational English class that focuses on a wide variety of topics relevant to newcomers to Canada and also to those wanting to practice English language skills. Our classes will include a biblical perspective on each topic.

Hope Twenties is a Group Life opportunity for anyone aged 18-25. Twenties meets twice a month on Thursdays at 7 PM at Hope Bible Church for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Twenties that desire to join a small group also meet twice per month at the church and in home in the Halton area.

With topics including debt, generosity, work, saving, investing, and even eternity, this six-week course teaches individuals God’s perspective of managing money and possessions. It will provide the practical applications of handling finances, getting to the heart of the matter. If you are a young adult starting off, someone who finds yourself in a financial difficulty, or just a person learning to grow in wisdom with finances, this class is perfect for you. If you, or someone you love struggles with anxiety consider joining this 9-week care and support group. The focus of this group is to allow the Gospel of Jesus Christ to speak to emotional suffering, and to find our identity not in an issue but rather in the person of Christ. Both men and women are invited to this group which will be facilitated by Soul Care team members. There will be video based teaching each week along with time for smaller group discussion and prayer. As this is an in-person class, space is limited.

Hope Youth Senior High students are invited to our upcoming Senior High Fall retreat. This retreat is for Grades 9-12 students attending Hope Youth. We look forward to a time filled with worship, time in God's Word, and time with leaders and friends. No transportation will be provided for this retreat. Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their student(s). *PLEASE NOTE* Retreats are an intentional time of worship, teaching, and community for our small groups. We ask that students be committed to the entire weekend and that you make sure they do not request to come late or leave early. This is a distraction for everyone. When - Oct 18-20, 2024 Where - We will spend the weekend at Circle Square Ranch in Brantford, 1645 Colborne St E, Brantford, ON Drop off - 7:00PM Friday, October 18 Pick up - 1230-1PM Sunday, October 20. Please be on time. Cost - The retreat cost is $205 ($200 + FEE); this payment can be made by Visa or Mastercard (if you need another payment method, please get in touch with the office and speak to one of the Youth Team members) If you have any further questions, please email Youth@HopeOakville.ca.
