Getting Ready for the Return of Christ!

Join us in our series on 2 Peter as Pastor Robbie continues onto chapter 3. Peter’s pastoral heart is revealed here as he writes to the church, preparing them for the return of Christ. In the New Testament, 1 in every 15 verses mentions the second coming. God clearly wants us to meditate on this reality. We must live in light of Christ’s imminent return. Peter reminds the church of what is predicted and what is commanded. He leads them with proper expectations of the end times. He wants them and us to be ready for the scoffers and the false teachers. We must remember the Lord is patient, not slow.
